Applications Open
The CIty is beginning the process to update the 2012 Foothills District Framework Plan and need your thoughts. This effort will result in the adoption of a revised Foothills District Framework Plan, as well as associated amendments to the City code, Comprehensive Plan and Map, and Zoning Map to implement the recommendations of the revised Plan.

Tours are held about once a month between spring and summer, take approximately 1 ½ hours and are limited to 15 people per tour.

As part of our pathway program, design is now complete on our next group of sidewalks! Starting in July and continuing through fall, new sidewalks will be constructed along portions of Tree Top Lane, Overlook Drive, and Meadowlark Lane.

Road construction to improve safety on Stafford Road is underway. Stafford Road and Childs Road will be closed to thru traffic from north of Johnson Rd to south of Rosemont Road through September 30, 2025.
This is a Clackamas County Road Improvement Project. This project involves adding a roundabout at Childs Road, realigning Johnson Road to eliminate intersection skew and reduce steep slopes, adding a southbound left-turn lane at Johnson Road, widening Stafford Road between Pattulo Way and Rosemont Road to add bike lanes, and replacing the Pecan Creek culvert at Childs Road with a larger, fish-passable culvert.
Construction is expected to continue on this project through September 2026.

Stormwater Bingo is a great way to get outdoors, discover how stormwater impacts our environment, and complete exciting challenges along the way. You can pick up a Bingo card at City Hall, LORAC or the Library. You can also download and print your own card online!
On July 1, the Lake Oswego City Council will officially proclaim July as Disability Pride Month. Disability Pride Month is an annual event celebrated in July to commemorate the passing of the Americans with Disabilities Act on July 26, 1990. It recognizes and honors the history, achievements, experiences, and struggles of people with disabilities.
Disability Pride Month promotes visibility and mainstream awareness of the positive pride felt by people with disabilities, celebrating diversity and fostering a society that is inclusive and accessible to all individuals, regardless of ability.
We invite you to celebrate Disability Pride Month with us - we have several activities and events planned throughout the month! All events are free and open to the public.
